Morgan Creek Park
Discover Morgan Creek Park in Cedar Rapids
Morgan Creek Park is located just west of the Cedar Rapids city limits in Linn County providing a wide variety of natural and recreational features in this 352-acre area within the stream valley of Morgan Creek. Over four miles of trails allow you to explore every corner of the park throughout the year. The arboretum and butterfly garden on the north side of the park at 7439 Worcester Road is plentiful of over 250 species of native and exotic trees and shrubs.

Camping
The campground is on the NORTH SIDE of the park at 7287 Worcester Rd, Palo
This family campground has modern sites with electricity and water, and a firepad and picnic table. There is no sewer but a dump station is available at the campground entrance. Campsites are equipped with a firepad and picnic table with a showerhouse with restrooms nearby.
Sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. All campers must self-register and pay the required fee. Firewood is available at the campground host site. These sites will be reservable in 2027.
Campgrounds are open generally from April 15-October 15, ground conditions permitting. (check our official website, LinnCountyIowa.gov/Conservation for details on whether conditions allow for extension of the season
Group Campground
A reservable pack-in group campground is located near the older shelter at 7001 Morgan Park Road.
