Camp Comfort Recreation Area
Located along the Shell Rock River, Camp Comfort provides a variety of recreational opportunities.
For campers, the area offers 38 electric campsites as well as space for tents.
Anglers will find ample opportunities to fish for a variety of species including catfish, bass, walleye, and northern above and below the rock dam, and kids will have fun playing on the playground equipment.
Flush toilets and running water are located in the campground restroom.
No dump stations are available on site.
Location
Camp Comfort is located north of county road C-23 at the intersection of Nobel Avenue and Camp Comfort Road.

Operating Hours & Seasons
Butler County Parks are open from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily.
Camping facilities including restrooms and electrical service are seasonal.
Closures
11/1/2023: The Camp Comfort campground is CLOSED for the season.
