Discover Koebrick Wildlife in Marble Rock

Koebrick Wildlife Area is a 35-acre wildlife refuge located along Highway 14 southeast of Rockford. The property is divided into two parcels by Flood Creek, creating a diverse mix of creekside habitat, woodland, native plants, and dense cover for wildlife. Because water levels and weather conditions can make crossing the creek difficult, visitors should be prepared for rugged and undeveloped terrain.

Hunting is not permitted within the refuge, allowing animals to find food, nesting areas, and shelter with limited disturbance. The area is especially popular with mushroom hunters and shed-antler hunters during the spring. Visitors may also observe wild turkeys, deer, monarch butterflies, birds, and other wildlife.

Native plants found throughout the property include milkweed, stiff and showy goldenrod, and oak trees. 

Koebrick Wildlife Area offers an undeveloped setting for wildlife observation, nature exploration, and experiencing the seasonal changes along Flood Creek.
