    Rental Contract Agreement

    • Reservations must be made 5 days prior to date.
    • The person responsible for the rental must be at least 21 years of age.
    • A damage deposit of $100 is due one week after your reservation is made. The deposit must be mailed to Floyd County Conservation P.O. Box 495 Rockford Iowa 50468. The deposit will be shredded if there are not issues with damages, clean up, late departure, and other rules & regulations are followed.
    • Check in time: 8 a.m.
    • Check out time: 10:30 p.m.
    • Renter will choose a 4 digit key code upon online reservation check-out.
    • Maximum number of occupants is 50 people.
    • Maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive nights.
    • Renters are responsible for fully cleaning the lodge before check-out
    • Non-registered guests must leave by 10:30 p.m.
    • Quiet hours are from 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.
    • No pets allowed in lodge.
    • No smoking allowed in lodge.
    • All trash must be placed outside curbside or taken with you.
    • Lodge furniture must stay in the lodge..
    • RV’s, pop-ups, 5th wheels and tents must use regular campground sites.
    • Temporary free-standing signs are allowed. Signs are not to be attached to furniture, sign posts, kiosks, or facilities.

    • Large groups over 50 individuals, will be charged a $5 per person per day fee. Fee is payable at Departure time.
    • All rules and regulations of the Floyd County Conservation Board are in effect. Failure to abide by rules may result in expulsion and forfeiture of all rental fees.
    • Floyd County Conservation Board reserves to right to enter the lodge in cases of maintenance and security issues.

    Cancellation Policy

    If you need to cancel a reservation, you will forfeit 100% of all reservation feeds paid.  All cancellations must be made by calling the Floyd Co. Conservation office at 641-756-3490.

    All reservations with Floyd Co. Conservation facilities are final.  Reservations are non-refundable unless the following situations occur:
    o Accident, serious injury, death in immediate family
    o The National Weather Service has issued severe weather and/or travel conditions.
    o We are unable to provide your facility in operable condition for the date you requested.
    o Military deployment

     The Lacey Lodge is name after John Lacey.  Lacey was a member of the Iowa House of Representatives and live in Oskaloosa, Iowa.  He is most prominently known as the namesake of the Lacey Act of 1900. The Act protects both plants and wildlife by creating civil and criminal penalties for a wide array of violations. Most notably, the Act prohibits trade in wildlife, fish, and plants that have been illegally taken, possessed, transported or sold.

    This facility is a great place for a family/friend gathering.

    Located between two playgrounds and a short walking distance from the recreation center and hiking trails. 

    Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 08:00 AM and check-out is before 10:30 PM.

    Location Upon entering the Tosanak Recreation Area, take the road to the right with another right at the next Y intersection. The Lacey Lodge will be on your right.

    Lacey Lodge is a 40'x28' building with electricity containing 6 tables/chairs along with a stainless steel countertop. 

    It is surrounded by a 48'x10' deck over-looking a wooded valley.

    • Restrooms/Shower facilities a short distance away.

    Rental Fee is $75 per day.
