    Rental Contract Agreement

    • Reservations must be made 5 days prior to date.

    • 2 night minimum stay, 3 night minimum for Holidays. 

    • The person responsible for the rental must be at least 21 years of age. 

    • Check in time: 3 p.m.• Check out time: 12 p.m.

    • Renter will choose a 4 digit key code upon online reservation check-out.

    • Maximum number of occupants is 10 people.

    • Maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive nights.

    • Renters are responsible for fully cleaning the cabin before check-out.

    • Non-registered guests must leave by 10:30 p.m.

    • Quiet hours are from 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.

    • Pet Fee

    • Pets allowed for an additional fee of $50/reservation. Failure to claim pets while making the reservation will result in loss of deposit. 
    • No more than 2 dogs allowed. 
    • All pets must either be on a leash (not exceeding 6') or tethered/kenneled at all times.
    • Pets may not be wet or bathed inside the facility.
    • Pets must be kept mannerly.
    • All pet waste must be bagged and trashed.
    • Do not tether pets to county property.
    • Do not leave pets loose and/or unattended inside or outside of the cabin.

    • No smoking allowed in cabins. 

    • Cabin furniture must stay in the cabin.

    • RV’s, pop-ups, 5th wheels and tents must use regular campground sites.

    • Temporary free-standing signs are allowed. Signs are not to be attached to furniture, sign posts, kiosks, or facilities.

    • Floyd County Conservation Board reserves to right to enter the cabin in cases of maintenance and security issues.

    • Large groups over 50 individuals, will be charged a $5 per person per day fee. Fee is payable at Departure time.

    • All rules and regulations of the Floyd County Conservation Board are in effect. Failure to abide by rules may result in expulsion and forfeiture of all rental fees.

    Cancellations – reservations are non-refundable with the following exceptions:

    o Accident, serious injury, death in immediate family

    o Risky travel conditions (travel advisory)

    o Unable to provide facility

    o Military deployment

    Designed to accommodate multiple families or a group of friends, this spacious cabin features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a comfortable living area. Guests can relax on the large outdoor deck while enjoying scenic views of the Shell Rock River. Otter Ridge Cabin was designed to invite families and friends to enjoy nature while enjoying the modern amenities.

    Steps away is a recreation facility featuring: basketball, volleyball, bean bag boards, ping pong and foosball. Enjoy the heated cabin during the winter months and cross country ski on the groomed trails, or if you prefer, blaze your own.

    Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 03:00 PM and check-out is before 12:00 PM.

    The campsite is located at Tosanak Recreation Area: 2543 Glass Ave., Marble Rock, IA 50653. 

    Located on the west side of Tosanak Recreation Area, Otter Ridge Cabin overlooks the scenic Shell Rock River and offers convenient access to hiking trails, the recreation facility, and other park amenities.

    Hours of Operation & Seasons

    Otter Ridge Cabin is an all season cabin and is available for reservations year round. 

    Reservations may be made up to two years in advance of the date. Check-in time may be any time after 3 p.m. on the day of arrival, and checkout time is prior to 12 p.m. on the day of departure.
