Howard

The largest park managed by the Howard County Conswedrvation Board.  This scenic park includes a 54 acre man-made lake and serves as a multiple use area offering a wide variety of outdoor opportunities.

Located 1 mile north of State Highway 9 on county road T68 in Riceville, IA.

Features

Activities include fishing, picnicking, biking, camping, conoeing and boating (electric motors only), swimming, hard surfaced recreational trail, archery range, softball diamond, and playground.

Operating Hours & Seasons

Lake Hendricks opens each day at 6:00AM and closes at 10:30PM with camping from May to Octyober.
