Beginning Birders Hike for Adults


Event Summary

Enjoy a peaceful hike through the prairie at the Hurstville Interpretive Center while practicing your birding skills on Sunday, July 12 at 10:00 AM. 

Learn to identify local Iowa birds by sight with binoculars, and learn a few bird calls along the way!

The trail is about half a mile and flat. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear comfortable for walking.

Participants are encouraged to download the Seek app on their smart device to aid in bird ID.

This event is free and open to adults 18 and up.

Registration is not required.
