Spring Foraging Workshop

Event Summary

The animals are feasting and so can we! Come learn safe foraging techniques, common spring plants to harvest, how to ID them, and suggested recipes to try.

We will meet at the Prairie Creek Recreation Area pavilion off of Jacobsen Dr. and talk about plants to forage in the spring and how to harvest them and hike out to ID and forage some plants. Once we return, we will taste a few recipes made from foraged plants. Please dress for the weather as the event will be outside. Cost is $5.
