Jefferson - Jefferson County Park

By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 18 years or older (21 years of age if beer or wine will be present at your event) and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the group you have listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of all visitors, occupants, activities or actions while utilizing said facilities.  You also agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jefferson County, Jefferson County Conservation Board, all of its employees, Board Members, agent, and volunteers for any and all claims that may arise from the use or occupancy of this County facility.

Additionally, you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation for this facility; which, are outlined at the bottom of this agreement.

$40.00 per Day (Non-Refundable)

$4.00 Non-refundable processing fee will be added to each shelter rental at time payment is submitted.

You are reserving a facility in a Jefferson County Conservation Board Park. ALL COUNTY PARK RULES AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED. The complete rules can be found on our website, www.JeffersonCountyConservation.com.  It is your responsibility to know the rules and regulations. Contact the Conservation Office if you have any questions about park rules, policies or special requests.

Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action. Jefferson County Conservation may take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property.

Shelters must be vacant and cleaned up by 10:00pm at the latest. 

No amplified music is allowed. 

The tables shall not be moved without first obtaining permission from park staff. If approved, the users shall put them back as they found them before they leave.

“Carry in – Carry out”- All trash must be removed from the shelter and surrounding area including decorations, streamers, balloons, glitter, etc. Renters are required to clean up the facility and grounds and return them to the condition you received them. All decorations, temporary signs and the items used to attach or display them will be removed and disposed of properly. Plan to have the facility cleaned and people departed prior to the Jefferson County Park closing time at 10:00pm.

Jefferson County is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.

Parking is confined to designated parking areas. Parking or driving off roadways or parking areas is prohibited.

Temporary, free standing directional signs are allowed – not to be attached to park furniture, signposts or other facilities. Small stakes for temporary signs may be used and must be removed at conclusion of the event. Decorations are allowed as long as they are free standing or not affixed in a manner that would damage any surface of the facility, floor of the facility or the facility itself (tape, tacks, staples that may cause damage to the facility are prohibited. The use of painter’s tape, scotch tape or string is recommended). 

Only beer with an alcohol content of 5% or less by weight and wine with an alcohol content of 17% or less by weight may be consumed in county parks. Drinking of these beverages is not permitted on roads or in parking areas. Hard liquor and wine with alcohol content in excess of

17% by weight or other alcoholic liquors are NOT to be consumed in county parks. Keg beer is NOT allowed.

All Pets must be on a leash at all times, free roaming animals are prohibited (with exception of service animals).
