Event Summary
Enjoy a series of three spring walks as we explore our local public parks and the ephemeral progression of spring wildflowers blooming. The walks are free and registration is not required. Walkers are invited to bring a snack to share afterwards. The walks are led by Outdoor Alliance of Story County volunteers and are cosponsored by Story County Conservation.
Thursday, May 7, 2026 Spring Wildflower Walk at Soper's Mill: Meet on the NE side of the river at 56364 170th Street, Ames, 50010. It is the side of the river closes to Interstate. We will begin our walk from the parking area at 1:30 and wrap up by 3:00
