Earth Day

Event Summary

It is Earth Day, and the Butler CCB is giving you a chance to give back to the natural world and Butler CCB by helping around the nature center grounds. We are going to be doing some landscaping in the near future around the building, but some things have to be removed in order to accommodate a pond re-installation and other projects planned outside the nature center. We invite you to come out at 10:00 on Saturday, April 22 to help prepare the grounds for future projects. There will be a variety of projects suitable for multiple ages and abilities. If you have questions, give Annette a call at 319-278-4237.

After we have put you to work, we will grill hotdogs for all participants. It would be nice if you registered to help us plan what supplies we will need for lunch.

We will have some gloves available if you don't have your own. Bring water and wear appropriate shoes and clothing that can get dirty.
