Tosanak Recreation Area
Tosanak Recreation Area, former Winnebago Scout Reservation, is a 370 acre area with a variety of habitats. The Shell Rock river borders the west edge for 2 miles. Mature riparian trees and prairie habitats are home for a variety of year round and seasonal animal species.
The Tosanak Recreation Area also offers reservable facilities (i.e. Cabins / Lodges / Picnic Shelters, Campsites, RV sites) Cabins range from modern (water & electricity), to those with electricity only and others with no electricity or water.

Closures
RV sites, tent camping area, and primitive cabins are closed for the season, Those areas will re-open May 4th, 2024.
