Event Summary

Ready to land the big one? Calling all 1st & 2nd graders for a morning of fins, fun, and fishing! This hands-on clinic is designed to turn beginners into confident young anglers. We’ll dive into the "tackle box" to learn the professional names for all our gear—from bobbers and sinkers to the rods and reels we use every day.

Campers will master the "How-To" of fishing, including how to bait a hook (yes, we’re using real bait!), how to cast safely, and how to reel in a catch. We’ll take a break for some tasty snacks before heading to the water's edge to put our new skills to the test. Whether it’s your first time holding a rod or you're already a pro, come help us discover what’s biting in our local Iowa waters!
