Needle Felting Workshop

Event Summary

Learn needle felting basics by making your own needle felted bird! Needle felting is a craft for sculpting wool by using special sharp needles to poke wool into shapes. 

Learn about local Iowa bird species while you craft one at a workshop on Sunday, June 14, from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Hurstville Interpretive Center.

Participants will make their own felt bird. Materials and step by step instruction will be provided.

This program is for adults and youth ages 12 and older. Cost is $5 per person.
