Bird Banding & Migratory Bird Day

Rob Bradley will be banding birds caught near Wickiup Hill.  Visitors may be surprised with special views of spring migrants such as warblers and white- throated sparrows.   While birds are being banded, close-up views of feather colors and behaviors can be observed.  Also, to celebrate Migratory Bird Day:  "On the Move: Bird Photography by Linda & Robert Scarth" Like many photographers and birders, the Scarth’s sometimes 'migrate' to photograph birds. They also keep their cameras ready to 'capture’ local residents and birds migrating through. There will be activities for children during the morning. Cost is $2.50/adult, $1/child 16 and under, or $5/family.
