The Dickinson County Conservation Board is located in the northwest Iowa Great Lakes region along the Minnesota border and has a goal of preserving and enhancing camping, picnicking, hiking, fishing, historical and other types of outdoor activities . The DCCB manages 11 areas encompassing more than 600 acres and is home to the Dickinson County Nature Center located in Kenue Park in Okoboji.
