The Dickinson County Conservation Board is located in the NW Iowa "Great Lakes" region along the Minnesota border and has a goal of preserving and enhancing camping, picnicking, hiking, fishing, historical and other types of outdoor activities . The DCCB manages 10 areas encompassing 324 acres and is home to the Dickinson County Nature Center located in Kenue Park near Okoboji.
