Creek Study and You July 11, Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Bever Park Duck Pond Pavilion, Cedar Rapids Get your hands dirty and dip into our stream study. Explore what’s in the mud; learn about plant and critter life, and practice your fishing techniques. The Cedar Rapids Park and Recreation Department, Iowa DNR and Linn County Conservation cosponsor this program at Bever Park in Cedar Rapids. Bring a sack lunch not needing refrigeration and a bottle of water. Dress to wade in the stream. Registration: Required by calling Ambroz Recreation Center at 286-5731 Cost: $11 per 8-11 year old student
