We will look at the prehistoric origins of textile technology as well as archaeological evidence for its presence in eastern Iowa.  The presentation will include a hands-on introduction to the fiber sources and basic processes of manufacture used by the native inhabitants of eastern Iowa.  Cost is $2.50/adult, $1/child 16 and under, or $5/family.
