“Fantastic Fish” A Summer Youth Event!

Mill Creek Park, O'Brien County

Thursday, June 6, 2013

School is OUT, and summer has finally arrived! The O’Brien County Conservation Board is offering a multitude of opportunities for youth to get outdoors and EXPLORE this summer. These activities are targeted for young people between the ages of 6 -13.

The first of our summer offerings occurs on Thursday, June 6 at Mill Creek Park, east of Paullina on Hwy 10. “Fantastic Fish” will be the feature. There will be games, activities, crafts, a snack and more as participants explore the creatures beneath the water’s surface. Meet in front of the lodge at 9:00 a.m. The fun will conclude at 11:30.

Watch for more upcoming youth events this summer including: Finding Your Way, Circle of Life, Explore the Past, and Recycled Crafts. Get your young people outdoors this summer!

For more information about the event, contact the O’Brien County Conservation Board at 712-295-7200.
