Mentored Youth Waterfowl Hunt

Would your child like to experience the thrill of waterfowl hunting? This mentored hunt in a controlled waterfowl hunting area at Chichaqua can provide this opportunity. Start the morning with a “hunter’s breakfast” in the Longhouse. Youth will be placed in groups of two and teamed with an experienced waterfowl hunter and conservation officer to serve as mentors. Mentors will provide the dogs, decoys, calling skills and guidance. Youth need to provide their own gun, ammunition, and waders (PCC will provide them if youth do not have them.) Pre-registration is required; deadline is September 15. Fee: $10.
