Dutch Oven Gathering

Do you like to cook over the coals with your Dutch Oven or wondering what it is all about?  This event is for you!  Join us Saturday September 30 at the Turkey Ridge Campground for an evening of Dutch Oven cooking.  Dishes to include: breads, appetizers, main dishes and desserts.  Dishes will be judged, with first place awarded in each category. Potluck meal afterwards.   Those cooking will start around 3 pm to be completed around 6 pm.  For those wondering about this style of cooking you are welcome to join us, ask questions and wonder around.  Potluck meal after judging please bring a dish to share for those not participating in the cook off (does not have to be dutch oven dish).  Call Sunday Ford at 712-552-3057 to sign up as a Dutch Oven Cooker or with questions.  First 10 cookers signed up will receive a free night of camping at Turkey Ridge on Saturday September 30.
