Join the Sioux County Conservation Board and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach for a Winter Songbird Fun Day open to all ages! The event will be held on Saturday, February 14 from 9:30-11:30 am. A Naturalist will introduce you to winter songbird identification, adaptations, and feeding; ideas for songbird habitat, as well as gardening for songbirds will be explored with ISU Extension and Outreach Horticulture Educator; and you may also do a make and take craft for the birds. The second half of the program will be a bird hike, weather dependent, or a special visitor if outside is not an option. No cost, pre-registration is a must. Call 712/552-3057 for more information.
