Summer Skills: Nature Quest Camp

Team up with other campers to navigate McFarland Park by map and GPS and discover hidden challenges. Can you complete the quest?
Masks are recommended. Wear comfortable shoes for hiking. Bring a full water bottle (in a small backpack for hiking if desired). Apply sunscreen and bug spray before arrival.
The camp is for children who have completed 5th grade and up in the spring of 2021.
Registration begins May 3rd at 6 pm, and ends on July 19th at 4 pm.
Our top priority has been and will continue to be the health and well-being of the public and the staff. In response to COVID-19, Story County Conservation programs will adhere to social distancing, smaller group size, increased sanitation, and we recommend face coverings when social distancing is not possible or while indoors. Pre-registration will be required when group size needs to be limited due to the facility or location.
