McFarland Park, Story County

Tuesday, October 4, 2016

O.W.L.S. programs are designed for "boomers" or older, but anyone can attend. No registration is required unless you would like to attend the optional luncheon that follows the program for just $7.50.

"Pumas, Penguins, and Pinnacles in Patagonia" By: Dr. Jim Pease

"Patagonia" is much more than a high-end clothing company. In fact, it takes its name from an area covering about the southern third of South America. This presentation will feature the wildlife of Chilean Patagonia as seen through the lens of Jim Pease. Jim and his wife traveled there in 2015 and have wonderful stories and photos to share from their trip. Menu: pulled pork bbq sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, and cookie.
