Fall Fest & Exhibit Grand Opening!

Join us for the Otter Creek Lake & Park Fall Fest on Sunday October 9th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for some FREE family fun!  While visiting the Tama County Nature Center you can see the newly completed Exhibit Room which houses world class dioramas, murals, models, wildlife mounts and interactive educational displays.

• Live Eagle Presentation by Sondra Cabell; Buchanan CCB- Starting at 1:30 PM & 3:00 PM
• Falconry in Iowa presentation-Steven Lohrer Starting at 2:15 PM
• Blacksmithing demonstrations- Chris Anderson; Tama CCB Ongoing 1:30 PM-3:00 PM
• Hands-on Apple cider pressing & tasting
• Hands-on crafts for kids
• Hands-on Archery- John Keenan
• Hands-on BB guns- Tama County Young Guns 4H Shooting Sports
• Dog field trial demonstrations- Luke Squiers
• Bird banding demonstrations- Bob & Connie Van Ersvelde
