Description
The Seasonal Park Technician position will be responsible for assisting the maintenance, appearance and functionality of Diamond Lake Park. Employment dates may be tailored to accommodate school or internship requirements but generally, April through September. This position will perform a variety of maintenance related jobs on all areas managed by Poweshiek County Conservation Board. Duties include but not limited to; mowing and grounds maintenance, cleaning and facilities maintenance, equipment operations and maintenance, and other duties as assigned. Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing, apply knowledge and common sense to achieve work objectives. Have the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Education or training in Natural Resources or a related field is preferred, but not required.
