Littlefield Recreation Area is owned and operated by the Audubon County Conservation Board (ACCB). Its 444 acres provide many types of recreational opportunities. They include camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing, hunting, hiking, winter sports, and a bison exhibit. The campground has approximately 100 sites available with electricity and water. Fifteen of the sites have full sewer hook-ups.
Audubon County is one of the prime areas in the state for pheasant hunting. About 100 acres are provided for public hunting. These areas are clearly marked. In addition to the public hunting areas, areas of the park that are not managed for intensive recreation are managed for wildlife.
