Spring is the time of year to see Iowa’s remnant prairie as it first wakes up for the season. On Saturday May 11 at 10 am join Jackson County Conservation Naturalist Tony Vorwald and the Iowa Prairie Network to learn about the prairies’ spring flowers and ecology. Hamilton’s Prairie has been managed as a biological preserve with a mixture of remnant and reconstructed high-quality prairie. Meet us by Ray’s buildings off 288th Ave Maquoketa Iowa right across the street from Codfish Hollow Barnstormers.
