Wapello County Conservation is located in southeast Iowa and is home to the Pioneer Ridge Nature Area & Center. The Wapello CCB collectively manages 11 parks and natural areas encompassing over 1700 acres throughout the county. In combination, these areas provide extremely diverse habitats providing residents with a wide range of outdoor recreational activities such as picnicking, bird watching, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, camping, hunting and fishing.
