Austin Park
Austin Park sits along the Des Moines River just up stream of Pittsburg. The area has a new concrete boat ramp and parking lot which makes for a great place to put in boats or kayaks to go to Keosauqua or one of the villages further down stream. Austin has gravel pads and is currently being upgraded to have electricity. Camping is available along with a boat ramp and parking, a shelter is also available on site. These are non reservable sites at $13/night.
Improvements are currently being made to this park.

2 miles NE of Pittsburgh on a gravel road.
